The Hug Vase is a private ceramic experience where a shared embrace reshapes a wheel-thrown vessel into an organic and custom form.

A tall, soft-walled form is prepared in advance. During your session, participants embrace each other around the clay form, allowing contact and pressure to alter its silhouette. The walls shift creating curves that respond and the vase becomes a unique record of your hug.

This is not about symmetry or perfection. It is about form shaped by proximity. This experience and keepsake marks a kinship, whomever that is for you, and captures the powerful invisible holding space between us when embrace.

Perfect for anyone who loves a good hug; partners, friends, families (including pet parents), expecting parents, and even solo hugs as a reminder of self-love

Following the session, the vessel is gently refined, dried slowly, glazed on the inside and kiln-fired. The exterior is left raw to celebrate each mark during your hug. Your keepsake hug vase will be ready for pickup approximately 8-10 weeks following your session.
