4-Week Foundations Wheel Course

A foundations course designed to be more than just a "tester" with a shorter commitment length of a full 6 or 8 week course. 

VARA studios focuses on personalized wheel class sizes of either 1 or 2 students because I believe in creating an optimal learning environment where every student is seen, so they can thrive.

Discover the joy of creating your own pottery from start to finish. You’ll learn every step of the process. Beginning with clay preparation to understanding the fundamentals of throwing on the wheel, shaping your vessels, trimming them to perfection, and finally, glazing your pieces to make it uniquely yours. At the end of the course you will take home 4 of your best pieces to enjoy.

This course runs weekly at the same time, so it is preferred that students are available for each lesson. When you purchase your lessons we can arrange a time that works for you. Make-up classes can be discussed.

The foundations course is highly recommended as a prerequisite to our 6 and 8 week courses, but not required.

All materials, clay, glazing, and firing are included.
