Curious about the pottery wheel but not ready to commit? Turning Point is a private lesson designed to give you a feel for the clay and the wheel-throwing experience.
In this 2-hour class, you’ll get your hands dirty learning the basics of centering, shaping, and forming clay on the wheel. It’s playful, messy, and meditative; a chance to step into the studio and try something new with no pressure and no prior experience needed.
During your hands-on lesson you'll create up to vessels or forms, which will be glazed and fired for you after your lesson. Your pieces will be ready for pickup in 4–6 weeks.
Please note: This is a sampler class focused on the throwing experience. If you’re eager to dive deeper and learn the full pottery process, from start to finish, we recommend registering for our 4-Week Foundations Course.
All materials, clay, glazing, and firing are included.
